Amid this season of hopeful expectation, the NACCC is doing something new! We contracted with the Rev. Dr. Gerry Krupp to serve with the Growth and Vitality Ministry Councils and walk alongside churches in the pastoral search process. This decision follows a year of discernment resulting in a proposed staff position, Director of Programs.
For the first half of 2023, Gerry will work 25 hours per week, guiding us in introducing this role. Most recently, he led the First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa and Heritage Congregational Church in Madison (where he will continue part-time) as a transitional minister. Past experiences include consulting with congregations from eight different Christian traditions and partnering with a newly-organized denomination in Uganda. Earlier in his vocational journey, Dr. Krupp taught at Indiana Wesleyan University. We welcome his insight and experience as we begin a new year!

Julie Robie, Missions Coordinator
From Ida MacRae, Director of Seafarer’s Friend: It's beginning to look a lot like... "salt ship season"! A warm welcome from the crew on the Aqualeo! We were lucky enough to have them visit two of our ports (MA & ME). Unfortunately, due to company policies, this crew of 20 men do not have access for shore leave. But that didn't stop us from helping them out with whatever they needed,
from sim cards to shopping orders to beautiful New England sunsets! Safe sails and blessings to the Aqualeo crew For more information about Seafarer’s Friend, please visit www.seafarersfriend.org or Seafarer’s Friend on Facebook.
