I was asked to talk about being the year around delegate. Being asked about this has caused me to think about this in a little different way than I had before. I have been the delegate for my church for at least five years. What have I done with all this information that I receive every month? Have I shared it like I could have?
Being the delegate is not difficult. You will receive an email every month with information and happenings within the NACCC. You have the option to choose how to share this information. By sharing with your congregation, you are keeping them in touch with our organization. There are many items; from what other churches are doing for fund raisers to how they conduct Sunday Service. I am now a minister and will hopefully be turning the privilege over to another in my congregation. My hope will be that we take time during the announcements once a month to talk a bit about “what’s happening.”
I hope by reading this, it will spark something in you about how to share the Love of Christ and help us to be better together.
